This architectural project and sculpture is designed and fabricated by CJ Reed, Beatriz Coronado, Alejandra Ramirez and Eric Martinez, students at CSU Pomona (CalPoly) School of Architecture. It was created under the direction of Behn Samareh , CalPoly professor and founder of Machine Inspired Art , a gallery and design studio in downtown Los Angeles. The main objective of this project was to create a 2-D module which could be combined again with the same exact module to create a 3-D sculpture. Then being able to take this shape, mass produce it, and create an installation that has unlimited size and reconfiguration potential for many different environments and audiences to interact with and experience.

This large modular sculpture, extending out to 15 feet, will be on display at the FUTRA THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY on Saturday, March 7th from 6pm-12am at LOT 613 Gallery in Los Angeles. $5 ENTRY WITH RSVP >
