Peter Lansky aka Sovietpanda began djing the Minneapolis club scene in 2006. It was his knack for reading a dance floor and disregard of genre conventions that quickly moved him ahead in the dance community. For the last five years he’s hosted Too Much Love every Saturday at the legendary venue First Avenue. These events have featured acts such as LCD Soundsystem, Dam-Funk, DVS1, and Silent Servant. As a DJ he’s opened for a wide variety of artists ranging from Tiger & Woods and Soul Clap to Derrick Carter and Lazer Sword. For the Futra Podcast he brings us an all-vinyl mix that represents his current flavor and constant search for new sounds.
